Episode 34 – Guest is Alfie Booth, unofficial town gardener for the town of Marshall. Booth was the first perennial gardener in Asheville in the 80s. The former brick layer, fine artist and horticulturist added flowers to the area. He manages the planters lining Main Street in downtown Marshall, and plants vegetables at the Presbyterian Church for Neighbors in Need. Also: Master Gardener program in Asheville.
